Christmas Santa

My first attempt at creating this for a Christmas tree decoration gift to my friend.

I tried the design found online, sorry no link to a blog or pic with me. The original one was pretty small and I have created 3" quilled Santa. Arranging the pieces together to get the correct shape was a challenge..

Paper Quilled Birthday cake card - roses and frills with beads on top

This 58th birthday card practically was made entirely in 15 mins with all the leftover quilled pieces of ! Glue is still wet when I took the picture.

Quilled photo frame

Another frame an idea inspired by some work I found on a website. This is a special frame designed for my niece's 8th birthday and did she love it !!!

All you need is a frame of the size you want and you can keep adding more items to it if you like or remove some items if the frame size is small. This is a standard size frame of 9*6". I have used small decorative beads on the beetle's eyes and some diamond shaped beads for the butterflies.

A very special Quilling

This is my masterpiece so far, and also the maximum time I have spent on making something so beautiful and pretty and wow! Its all butterflies.. and they are flying all over the garden..

You can find various techniques used here. Have used husking, fringed flowers, tight-bound coils for the flower buds, two shaded leaves, etc.

Butterfly is my favorite too !! This is approximately 10" wide sheet of paper.

Few more envelope designs. This one is a 3 tier floral design with a pearl in the center.

A favorite, maroon red and white flowers arranged like a bouquet. Lot of styles used here.

This is a favorite of many people and have got many orders for this simple elegant pattern of roses.

Quilled Envelopes

I started quilling with making designs on gift envelopes. In India, people like to gift envelopes at various events like weddings, birthday's, ceremonies, festivals like raksha bandhan, diwali, christmas, etc. for dear ones, friends and well-wishers. Here are some samples of the designs I make. They are not specific to any festival, although I take orders to make them customized for events.

I design each envelope keeping in mind the color combinations, texture, etc.

Sorry folks for destroying the beauty of these pictures. But in recent time, i have observed at sites like https://karigari2013.wordpress.com/ who have literally copied my work and pasted them as their own. Inspiration is one thing but claiming to own the piece is another..
